Europe Industry Committee

Europe Industry Committee

Launched in 2025, The European Industry Committee (Europe IC) is a dedicated regional forum designed to support Europe-based organizations navigating the complex landscape of cell and gene therapy (CGT) commercialization. Recognizing the region's distinct regulatory, market, and developmental challenges, the Europe IC fosters a strong, collaborative industry community that addresses regional needs through targeted initiatives and knowledge-sharing.

The Committee convenes monthly to discuss key developments, regulatory updates, and opportunities for regional alignment.

Committee Charter & Objectives

  1. Identify and Address Gaps: Pinpoint unmet needs within the European CGT landscape and co-develop targeted resources such as white papers, roundtables and webinars.
  2. Drive Regional Insight Sharing: Keep members informed on emerging trends and policy shifts across both Europe and the global CGT field.
  3. Foster a Pan-European CGT Ecosystem: Connect stakeholders across academic, clinical, and commercial sectors to strengthen the regional CGT translational pipeline.
  4. Champion ISCT’s Role in Europe: Position ISCT as the go-to organization for CGT advancement by amplifying its presence and partnerships in the region.

Projects

  • The initial project focus is on developing an infographic that outlines the roadmap from concept to market for both allogeneic and autologous CAR T therapies in Europe.
